This time the distillery have taken a vatting of Pedro Ximinez Sherry barrels and Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled at 57.9% abv. A classic GlenDronach exactly as it was made – cask strength, non chill filtered and at natural colour. Our Tasting Notes Nose: A rich aroma of freshly made caramels and manuka honey. A touch of spice which is more like nutmeg and cinnamon. Balanced with the sweetness of dried raisins and touches of citrus. Palate: First reaction is oily and juicy. It’s got everything the nose would suggest but now there’s espresso and more defined citrus like chocolate orange and stewed plums. Finish: A long finish which balances well with spice, sweetness and oak.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
