Mars IWAI Traditional Wine Cask Finish Japanese Whisky (750ml) Volume: 750ml          ABV: 40%          Age: No Age Statement         Country: Japan Mars Iwai traditional is quite a meaty whisky  and as such reminds us of Ben Nevis whisky but on a Japanese scale. This thick and heavy whisky has now been finished in ex-red wine casks for about 12 months. The casks are from the Chateaus Mars winery. The Iwai blend is a mix of 75% malt and 25% corn/grain spirit. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Red berries, claret wine, croissants Palate: More red berries, vanilla, spice and earthy. Finish: Summer pudding meets vanilla slice.. For adults of legal drinking age.
