The estate on which the distillery sits has been growing barley for 200 years which contributes to nearly one-third of its barley needs. Distiller Jack Sellers has created a sharp and spicy whisky by taking only one 200 litre ex-Bourbon cask and allowing his spirit to mature for 3 years before reducing the alcohol percentage with local rain water and bottling this delicious whisky at 43% abv. At this strength the whisky is as smooth as it is balanced. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Honey sweetness and vanilla caramels, balanced oak and spice. Palate: Malted barley and dried dark fruits, creamy vanilla and delicate spice. Finish: Dark toffee and spice with more vanilla and dark fruits.. For adults of legal drinking age.
