The distillery would open right next to Jack Daniel’s prime resource: the mineral-rich Cave Spring Hollow. in 1904 Jack Daniel’s “Old No 7” wins a Gold Medal at the World’s Fair in St Louis, the first of 7 Gold Medals it would win, it has been the standard for Tennessee Whisky and a go-to for millions ever since. Japser “Jack” Daniel died in 1906 after not being able to open his safe at work, kicking it in frustration and breaking his toe. The injury worsened and deteriorated, ultimately cause his death. The limited edition ‘Music Bottle’ of Jack Daniels Old No 7 has been designed by legendary designer Paula Scher, famous for designing album covers, giving this unique bottling a stand out musical inspiration.
