They are bottled exactly as they come out of the barrel.  As the distillery do not use any caramel colouring or cold filtration, each expression shows the unique qualities of the barrel(s) it has been in. Made and hand bottled at the Great Southern Distillery on the harbour’s edge in Albany, this complex and elegant single malt whisky is distilled in traditional small batch copper pot stills from local barley. M266 is matured in second-fill oak barrels and then finished in a very old small sherry cask. It’s a serious whisky connoisseurs delight, made to savour. Official Tasting Notes Exhibiting spice and fruit aromas when neat, a splash of water unleashes malted barley, aromas of sherry and vanilla with hints of honey, raisins and buttery caramel.
